This lamp can be purchased with the condition 1.) "as-is" 2.) "wired up" or 3.) "refurbished."
It was a task light from a factory, bolted to the top of a work bench and used to add light in a concentrated work area. It has two joints to help aim the light where it is needed.
Note: Please remember that metal lamp shades become very hot thus are poorly suited for use by children or dopey adults who don't know better than to touch it or use it for a towel rack.

Paint is scratched, chipped and soiled. Wiring and plug are old, brittle and unsafe for use. Fixture is complete, excluding light bulb and bolts to fasten it to your table top.

Paint is scratched, chipped and soiled. Wiring, socket and switch are new. Fixture is complete, excluding light bulb and bolts to fasten it to your table top.
- Condition if purchased "refurbished"
Paint will be stripped, metal will be "rough polished" and clear coated to resist rust, will be rewired and equipped with a new socket, switch and plug. Fixture will be complete, excluding light bulb and bolts to attach it to your tabletop. (Rough polishing means you will see brush marks, possibly some metal staining and small dents.)
